In alignment with the objectives outlined in the 13th Five-Year Plan, the NDDC team embarked on a collaborative effort to craft a comprehensive National Dairy Development Strategy Document. On April 8th, 2024, the culmination of this endeavor was realized with the presentation of the document to the department.
The session was presided over by our esteemed Director of the Department of Livestock (DoL), with enthusiastic participation from dedicated department colleagues, alongside the NDDC team led by the Offtg. Program Director and other esteemed members.
The National Dairy Development Strategy Document serves as a roadmap, encapsulating our vision, mission, and actionable strategies aimed at propelling the Dairy sector towards greater success. Through meticulous planning and insightful discussions, our goal is to leverage our strengths and address pertinent challenges, thereby unlocking new avenues to achieve the national goal of strengthening dairy- based food and nutrition security during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and beyond.
