Our Centre hosted a special event on 2nd February 2026 to commemorate significant milestones and transitions within our organization.
The event marked the promotion of the following three staff members, acknowledging their exemplary service, professionalism, and sustained contributions to the Centre. In honor of this achievement, a Khadhar ceremony was held at the NDDC office campus. The celebration was thoughtfully arranged by the NDDC management and staff, and the promoting official kindly hosted a sumptuous dinner, adding warmth and festivity to the occasion. Their advancement reflects both individual merit and our collective commitment to excellence.
- Mr. Thinley Dorji, promoted to Deputy Chief Livestock Production Officer, position level P2A
- Mr. Sonam Norbu, promoted to Sr. Livestock Supervisor, position level SSIA.
- Mrs. Sangay Wangmo, promoted to Sr. Livestock Supervisor I, position level SS2A
We also paid tribute to the superannuation of our tractor driver, Mr. Domzang, in recognition of his 18 years of dedicated and dependable service, which have meaningfully supported the Centre’s operations over the years. We extend our sincere appreciation and best wishes for a fulfilling and well-deserved retirement.
In addition, the event included a farewell to two interns Tashi Yangzom Kalden and Norbu Zangmo, Food Tech Final Year Students from Collage of Natural Resources, recognizing their commitment and valuable contributions during their attachment with the Centre, and wishing them continued success in their future academic and professional pursuits.
The evening was a moment of pride, gratitude, and reflection—celebrating achievements, honoring service, and strengthening the spirit of camaraderie within the organization.
